KARLOVAC

We are in the last place that I will be teaching here in Croatia. I have had and plan to have a lot more Fun! The people are wonderful and eager to learn.

These classes are held once a day in the church. Monday at 4:30 students began to arrive and register. There are about 8 students in each of the levels. Diana is teaching level 1, Lois is teaching level 2, and Wileen is teaching level 3. I am teaching reading, which means I am sharing the bible story with the classes.

On Monday night on the way home, John and Lois Stefan had a automobile accident. Neither were hurt very bad, they were mostly in shock and sore. So I taught the level 2 class on Tuesday. The next day John was cutting some firewood and the chain saw caught onto his pants and ended up cutting his leg. They did not come back on Wednesday so I taught level 2 again. I had fun teaching those nights, I praise God that John and Lois are back now and feeling ok. John's leg is very sore, pray that he will have a swift recovery and that it will heal without complications.

The church has a worship band that has been playing every night. I enjoy this kind of music and am glad they are using their talents to serve the Lord. John is bringing the messages in the chapel service. When he was away the pastor Ladislav Ružička brought the messages. The services have been wonderful.

Melanija Ružička has prepared some wonderful meals for us while we have been her. The soups have been great and of course we have had salad. Everyone has tried to accommodate my food wishes when they can and I am very thankful for that.

I am looking forward to the next few days, I just wish I could stay here a little longer. I have many a lot of friends and would like to get to know them better. God is good to put people in your path that you need in one way or another, or that need you in one way or another. I pray that God will use me and that all I do will bring Him honor and glory. Pray for our team, there are many needs here and at home that weigh heavy on our hearts, thanks.
