Passport √ Ticket √

Welcome to my blog for my mission trip to Croatia this summer. This is the first entry, I am glad you have visited. I hope you will check back ever so often to see what is happening leading up to my departure. I also hope you will visit while I am there as I hope to post often.

I received my passport today and I purchased my ticket yesterday. So far all seems to be going well. I know that God has His hands on this trip because every time I think I have hit a snag He steps in and clears it. God is so good.

Let me tell you what will be happening on this trip....

I will be traveling with a number of other people to 3 locations in Croatia. You can see them circled in the photo above. In those locations we will be teaching English to people who have signed up to take the courses. We will also be supporting a local church in that area. There will be little time for sightseeing, although I do hope to do some. I am looking forward to visiting a new place, meeting people, and sharing the love of my Savior with them. I have never been in another country other than Canada and Mexico. This is a little scary for me.

For 40 days prior to the trip I plan to do a prayer challenge. I will start the challenge on May 1st and it will last through June 9th, the Sunday before I leave. If you would like to pray for us during this time also it would be greatly appreciated.
